Our heli-elopement packages are crafted for couples seeking a wild, intimate, and deeply personal way to celebrate their big day – surrounded by breathtaking landscapes, far from the expected.
Your day begins at Taupō Airport, where you and your guests are welcomed by your pilot, inhouse celebrant and a photographer if you choose to have one. With excitement in the air, you’ll lift off and soar over spectacular landscapes, leaving the ordinary behind as you make your way to a handpicked, remote location – be it a mountaintop, riverside, or private glamping tent.
Upon landing, you’ll step out into complete seclusion and natural beauty. Your celebrant will be ready to guide you through an intimate ceremony, with up to three of your closest loved ones witnessing your vows. Larger groups? No problem – we can arrange additional flights.
Following the ceremony, toast to your future with a styled picnic or grazing board.
As the sun begins to lower, your guests are flown home, giving you space to soak in the magic as newlyweds. Choose to retreat to one of our overnight options – Remote Glamping, or the Te Whare Ruruhau cabin, nestled in the wild.
Proposal Flights
It starts with a surprise – your partner thinks it’s just a scenic helicopter flight, a special day out exploring New Zealand’s wild beauty. You lift off from Taupō (or a location of your choice), soaring high above lakes, rolling hills, and untouched alpine ridgelines. The excitement builds as the world below becomes more remote, more rugged, more breathtaking.
Then, the moment comes.
You touch down on a secluded mountain top, beside a quiet river, or next to a tucked-away luxury glamping site – a place where it feels like you’re the only two people on earth. As they take in the view, you reach for the ring.
We’ve already taken care of the rest. A bottle of champagne is chilled and waiting and maybe there’s even a photographer discreetly capturing every second from a hidden vantage point, so you can relive the magic again and again.
After the big “yes,” you’ll have time to soak it all in – maybe with a styled picnic, a private toast, or a wander through the landscape now tied to your story.
