Matariki Nui is a luxury vessel on Lake Taupō, purpose-built for small, private groups. Surveyed for up to 12 guests, best suited for 2 – 8 people, offering a more relaxed and spacious experience on the water.

All charters are private, giving you the freedom to shape the day however you like. Cruise out to the iconic Māori Rock Carvings, or venture further to the Western Bays. Which is a quieter, more remote part of the lake that many visitors never get to see.

There’s no fixed itinerary. Stop for a swim, try some trout fishing, or simply sit back with a drink and take in the surroundings.

Catering can be as simple or as refined as you’d like, from shared platters and canapés through to a fully catered lunch or dinner on board.
